Tanoshii Ramen – Dallas, TX

Deep in Deep Ellum, you will find this very contemporary ramen bar. (Actually it’s very easy to find :))

The shop feature distinctive art deco of Dallas’ Deep Ellum. Check out the wall art in and outside.

Of course, the ramen is legit, great broth and chashu pork at very reasonable price.

Tiger Den – Houston, TX

This is a little gem in Houston China Town. Has been opened for a while, always a long waiting line, very reasonable price. Very cool ambiance with a nice bar.

The soup is one of the best, normally ramen soup could be salty, this is one of a few place that I can say they have the right mix.

Noodle: 8
Broth: 10
Meat: 8

Overall: 9

What I ate: Black bean tonkotsu & Tonkotsu & Dipping Noodles
Price: $
Other thoughts: They have a wide selection of appertizers, grill shrimp is a good choice, if you feeling adventureous you can get the chief’s special tako wasabi (raw squid with seaweed).
I heard sometime they sold out of noodle, so come early.
